As a five year old Woody continues to display outstanding structure and great thickness across the top line. He is stamping his progeny with these same traits. His first progeny to sell were heifer calves at foot on the Australian record making pen of Commercial Females (link) that sold at Millah Murrah in November 2005. His first sons to sell at Witherswood were extremely consistent and popular amongst buyers. Other progeny have had show successes including Junior Champion Bull at Canberra Royal in 2006 for Stephen Chase’s Waitara Angus Stud at Trangie.

Woody has been trialed for Need Feed Efficiency through the Coota Park efficiency testing Unit. His results for this trait in EBV terms place him in the top 5% of the breed, whilst he opposes the expectation that animals which excel for this trait will have lower fat coverage, by placing in the highest 10% for fat cover. Woody semen has sold to all states of Australia and Argentina.

Su madre proviene de la mejor familia de vacas y es respaldada por generaciones con muy buenos aplomos y conformación de ubres.
