Ulsterman was retained by Millah Murrah for exclusive internal use to follow up AI. Pictured above at 28 months, Ulsterman was used as a natural mating sire from 12 months of age and again at 18 & 24 months.
Phenotype and Structure
With his strong head, broad muzzle and kind eye – underlying a gentle disposition – Ulsterman is a sire with enormous presence and masculinity.
Almost frame score 7, he exhibits tremendous length of body, with strong bone, excellent skeletal angles and perfect foot structure. Ulsterman carries sound sheath and navel makeup, ideal testicles and zero white markings.
Pedigree
Ulsterman’s pedigree depth is a clincher.
On the sire side, ABS semen sire, Rector R53 is preceded by Genetics Australia semen sire Nectar N334, who in turn is a son of the renowned Coonamble Hector. Hector sired Millah Murrah Prue M4 whose 2017 price tag of $190,000 remains the highest ever paid for an Australian Angus female.
Ulsterman’s dam is among the greatest cows in Australian Angus history. For a female still so young, the descendant impact she is making on the breed is on another plain.

Progeny and Joining Application
Ulsterman’s first progeny will sell at Millah Murrah’s 2026 bull sale. He is breeding to kind, with a moderate to slightly later maturity pattern, extraordinary body length and heavy fleshing through the rear quarter. We expect some of the sale toppers will come from his sons.
With a novel pedigree for so many Angus programmes globally, Ulsterman has widespread mating application for myriad bloodlines. Sires that spring to mind, whose daughters would match Ulsterman nicely, include Baldridge Command, Woodhill Comstock, Millah Murrah Santiago and Taimate Roy.
